Thank you to everyone who attended this years Caygill Christmas cracker. Although the weather was yet again not on our side, with a clever decision to shorten the route this still enabled us to ride. We all set off together at 9am and rode to Northallerton where we stopped for food and drink at Strikes garden centre. We then pedaled back to The Farmers Arms, Scorton for a cheeky pint! The banter instantly started to flow to where I knew we were bang on target for a super evening to follow at the Richmond golf club. We all met up there around 4.30pm and enjoyed a drink before Penleys of Richmond served us our food. I must add the food was absolutely spectacular! A massive thank you to Storm for serving us our drinks alnight and our wonderful DJ Dan Glendinning for making the entertainment on song! Not to forget my good friend Carl Tate for planting the seed for us to try a new venue. Quite a few of the riders said it was the best Christmas cracker to date! We'll be back!
It made me so very happy to see you all having a lovely time and it was great to meet some new partners too.
Have a lovely Christmas everyone and I wish you all the very best for 2025.
