Solo cycle ride in aid of MacMillan Cancer support. James Brackenbury 27 from Londonderry near Bedale has decided to cycle from York Minster to Peterborough on Friday 18th Septermber, he is expected to travel 140miles in one day a total ride time of 11hrs. He is doing this to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support after they helped his mother through the sucsessful fight with breast cancer 3 years ago. James is taking on this trip solo with support from Lucy from Shoeberry in Bedale who has kindly offered to spot him on the way down and to carry food, water and basic bike repair items.
