Bike Donation to the Cherry family for CHUF

Arthur Caygill cycles have donated a bike to the Cherry family for CHUF (Children's Heart Unit Fund)

Samantha Cherry's words:

We would just like to take this opportunity to thank yourself and everyone at Arthur Caygill Cycles for kindly donating a child's bike to help raise vital funds for a fantastic charity called CHUF (Children's Heart Unit Fund) Freeman Hospital, Newcastle.

CHUF’s mission is to make life better for children and young people who are born with or develop heart conditions by providing lifelong support to them and their families. When our son Ben was diagnosed with a serious heart condition in 2016 and had to undergo Open Heart Surgery not long after his 13th birthday we were devastated but it is down to all the fundraising that CHUF provide for vital equipment,facilities, aftercare, salaries and research that the skilled Pediatric Cardiology Team were able to give him a second chance in life and for that we will be forever grateful. Ben will have to undergo further surgery in the future but hopefully with the continuous fundraising the team and unit will continue to help babies, children and teenagers fulfill their dreams for the future.
