This job was big and involved a respray, frame renovation, and reconfigeration. This Caygill mountain bike frame was originally hand made for Scott Caygill in the 1990's and with some extra love over the years, it's still going strong today!
Our customer who now owns the frame did toy with buying a new bike from us but told us he loves how it feels, handles and has got so many memories of where it has taken him so far. So, after much deliberation he decided on us fully renovating his trusty old steed.
The bike came into us with a triple groupset which we upgraded to a 1x transmission. He also wanted to upgrade from V-brakes to disc brakes and the frame to have a full respray. It's now ready for our customer's next expedition.
