Bank Holiday Monday at the races

May 23rd, 2015

Bank Holiday Monday at the races
British Grass Track National Championship at Richmond Cricket Club
What better way to spend the last day of the Bank Holiday weekend than watching top class cycling from the best beer garden in North Yorkshire!

Enjoy a packed programme of top class grass track cycling at one of just two grass track velodromes left in the country.

Events range from childrens' races - just bring a bike, a child and a helmet! - to the blue riband event, the British Cycling Open 8km National 8km Championship.

Gates open at 11am and the action starts shortly after lunch.

Refreshments and food will be available throughout the day: cheeseburgers and hot dogs from the BBQ, pizza and chips from The Clubhouse, sweets, ice-cream and soft drinks and of course hand pulled beers, lagers and wines from the cricket club bar.

This is a great family day out (well behaved dogs welcome) so why not come along and enjoy the atmosphere of a truly unique occasion.
